What Birdeye actually costs

Birdeye doesn't publish pricing. Their website routes you to a sales call regardless of your business size. Based on third-party pricing analyses and published industry research, their rates run approximately $199–$299 per location per month for restaurant chains, with the actual number depending on your contract negotiation.

For a 33-location chain, that works out to roughly $6,600–$9,900 per month. Their pricing also includes an 8% annual "Innovation Fee" on renewal, meaning costs increase automatically each year.

The contract situation

Birdeye uses annual contracts. If you want to cancel, their terms require 90 days of written notice before your renewal date. If you miss that window, you're automatically renewed for another year. If you want to leave before your contract ends, you owe the full remaining balance.

This is documented in their terms of service and reflected in a significant number of BBB complaints — 113 at the time of this writing, the majority related to billing disputes and contract terms. I'm not going to editorialize on that; it's just the information I found.

What Birdeye covers (and what it doesn't)

Birdeye monitors reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook, and many other sites. They also handle listings management, social media, SMS campaigns, and a lot more — it's a broad platform. What they don't cover natively: DoorDash and Uber Eats reviews. For restaurant operators where delivery is a meaningful channel, that's a gap.
